A while ago, Smoky, one of the kittens that Grandma Sue got for Lenna, got run over. So we have just had Kiki around. Our fabulous neighbors at the ButterNutHouse offered some kitties so we went over there to get one. Lenna got a new kitten. She named him Bootz. She loves to play with him and carry him around. He is an outside kitty, but we have had him for almost a week now, and every day when Tony gets home, he has to take Lenna down to spend some time with Bootz.

20 Months Old
Lenna turned 20 month old this week. Today is saturday and we are busy playing outside enjoying the new fall weather. It is a bit chillier than normal but Lenna is enjoying playing with Sarge and running around with him on is his leash. We captured a few cute photos of Sarge and Lenna running in the yard .

Kisses
Lenna gives kisses now. She will also kiss the phone when you tell her to say "love you".
Here is a pic we captured early this morning from my cell phone.

First Wedding/Dance
Lenna had a blast last night at her first Wedding/Reception besides Mom & Dad's (we didn't have a reception dance. We celebrated the wedding of one of Tony's co-workers. Lenna was a little nervous when everyone clapped at once, but got over that quickly. She also started dancing with the kids and having a good time. The picture here is not the best but I will share the pictures from the photographer when she sends us a link.
Purple/Yellow
This morning - I asked Lenna what color shirt she was wearing. She said "purple". I then asked, "What's your favorite color?" She says "Yellow". Tony nor myself had worked on the color yellow with her but she is definitely getting smart and learning lots right now. Such a cutie.
StumbleLenna
Lenna seemed to fall often lately so we brought her to the doctor to get checked out. She had an ear infection 3 weeks ago, and it had not gotten better. We were put on another antibiotic and sent on our way. Lenna seems to bonk her head a lot. Last Thursday, Lenna bonked her head on the steering wheel of the lawn mower riding with Daddy. Then she was playing on the two steps in our shed and fell on the concrete on the back of her head on the battery charger on the floor. She started gushing blood, but quit bleeding rather quickly. Scary moment for Mom & Dad, but we all prevailed. She doesn't even flinch now, she just says "owie" when she accidentally bumps it. Anyhow - she has now gotten another nickname - StumbleLenna. Maybe a new Disney Princess in the works?
Labor Day Amazen Farmyard
Lenna, Daddy and I went to the Amazen Farmyard in Eden Valley, MN on Labor Day. Lenna played with goats, went through a maze, slid down the giant slide, road a pony (by herself). It was a great day.
Goat hugging. I wish I would have captured her face, she was so excited. |
