Lenna had her 18 month checkup on July 18th.  Here are her stats:

Here are her stats:

Height: 32 1/4 inches long (62nd %-tile)
Weight: 22 lbs (50th %-tile)

Here is a favorite photo of Daddy & Lenna from our wedding posted by my cousin Kandy.  Say hello Lenna!~

Long time - No Blog Photo Catch up.

To all of our blog readers - I truly apologize.  I am going to picture overload to tell the story of what Lenna has been  up to this past month.

Lenna and I went to the Mall of America to shop and play while Daddy worked on his job one Saturday

Lenna is very curious and helped out while Grandpa and Daddy were fixing the baler

Grandma Jenny & Grandpa Frank came to visit so we spent the 4th of July in Annandale.  Here is a little bit of time at the lake

Lenna had a playdate with a friend of mine's boys, here she is with Hunter

We have been working with Lenna slowly on the potty.  She has a  potty chair for her baby Stella doll from Manhatten Toy.  Sometimes she decides to have her other toys go potty on the potty and she 'wipes' them with TP.

Lenna sits on the potty every morning and goes potty almost every morning unless she sleeps in.  We work with her randomly throughout the day if we are home too.  So far she is getting the #1 & #2 concept

Lenna enjoys coloring with sidewalk chalk
She still loves her puppy Sarge.

Lenna & Gus

Lenna got ponied around on Gussy boy tonight.  It looks like she is riding awesome but Mommy was standing very close by in case something happened while Daddy was saying "put your hand down".  Lenna loves saying horsee and tries to bring hay and grass down to the horses.  About the only time she pays attention to the tv is when there are horses on it.

Lenna is getting her last two eye teeth on the bottom before her 2 year molars come in.  This makes it rough on the little gal in the evenings.  Hopefully they cut through soon.

Rainy Weather

The weather has been quite rainy lately, which is never good for a little girl who loves to be outside.  Today there was some bad weather in Minneapolis, but thankfully it missed us.  Thoughts go out to those affected.  We had a break in the weather this evening and went outside to feed the horses.  I got some cute pictures of Lenna chasing the dandelions, kitty, and Sargie boy.

Since it was so rainy yesterday we decided to take Lenna to the Mall of America to see the Sea Life exhibit. We forgot our camera so we had to buy the tourist photo.  Lenna LOVED seeing all the fishies.  It was a great age to bring her.  She also enjoyed Lego Land as well.
Lenna's personality shines now most of the time.  Yesterday morning I said to Lenna "Let's get dressed and get your diaper changed."  She proceeded to run from me as she always does.  This time she ran and hid in Sarge's dog kennel.  Another example is yesterday while Lenna was at the mall she was throwing her snacks out of the stroller.  I gave her the "don't mess with Mom" look.  She then gave the same look back to me.  Nice huh?  Oh and just as I was typing this she figured out how to take her diaper off!

Grandma Sue got Lenna a spring rocking horse.  She loves it but gets frustrated because she can't get up by herself.  She is getting better and better at her attempts every day though

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Peterson

I know this is Lenna's blog, but she is in the video quite a bit because she was a large part of our big day. Here is a link to our wedding slideshow for those interested. Courtesy of Precise Images by Tabitha. It is 14 minutes long so make sure you have plenty of time to watch.

Mother's Day!

Lenna made Mommy a cute little craft item for Mother's day at daycare on Friday.  Then this morning while Mommy was in her bedroom getting ready for the day, little Lenna snuck in and gave me a card!  It was very cute, Daddy helped her fill it out.  Then while Mommy went on the computer Lenna took the envelope for my card.  She shredded it to pieces, then threw it in the garbage.  What a big helper.

We hope all of our blog reader's, if it applies had a wonderful Mother's Day as well.

15 Month Well Baby Check

Lenna went to see Dr. Sunberg on Friday to get her well baby, err should I say toddler check.  She was a good girl for her checkup.  Mommy expressed concerns about Lenna being 'pigeon toed' and that she trips over her feet.  Dr. says that Lenna is 'intoed', but there is nothing to be concerned about.  All of her joints are lining up correctly and her hips are fine.  Dr. did say a large amount of fast runners are intoed so we better look out.  Well, maybe it runs in the family for Lenna to be a runner like her Grandpa Pete, Aunt Shannon, Aunt Denise and Uncle Greg?  Maybe, but all I know is that Mommy needs to start training now so she will be able to keep up with this girl!

Here are her stats:
Height: 31 1/2 inches long (76th %-tile)
Weight: 21 lbs 13 oz (28th %-tile)
Head Circumference: 47 cm (76th %-tile)
