Working on the weekend

Most of our blog readers are aware that our house is still a work in progress.  Here is a picture of Tony putting some finishing touches on the trim around our big window in the foyer of our home.


What is different now having a baby, is that we have extra help!  Lenna is so curious about everything and loves to get INTO everything.  We love that girl though, what a fun personality she has.

Happy (Belated) 9 Month Old Birthday Lenna + Well Baby Check

Last Monday Lenna turned 9 months old.  Wow how time has flown.  She has now been outside of the 'womb' as long as she was in it.  Today we had Lenna's 9 month well baby check.  Lenna had a slight ear infection in her left ear it was a bit red.  That probably explains why she has been waking up at night a little more this week.  She prescribed an antibiotic and everything should be good to go after we are done giving her that.

Height:  28 1/2 inches long (82nd %-tile)
Weight:  18 lbs 7 oz (42nd %-tile)
Head Circumference:  45 cm (78th %-tile)

A day at the (Children's) Museum

Lenna and Mommy met up with two other Mommies last Sunday at the Children's Museum in St. Paul.  We had a great time and Lenna enjoyed hanging out with the two other boys Cole & Levi.  They were both born in January as well.

Grandpa Pete's 70th Birthday

Last Saturday Lenna celebrated Grandpa Pete's 70th Birthday and enjoyed lots of time with her Aunts, Uncles & Cousins

Who needs toys?

Who needs toys to play with? Lenna is happy with a cardboard box and a gift bag. Check out how much better balance she is getting. Such a big girl huh?

1st Night Away from Mommy & Daddy

Lenna had her first overnight visit away from Mom and Dad last night.  She went to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Peterson.  She also got to have a sleepover with her cousin Jordyn.  Lenna was a good girl and had a good time away.  She is getting more independent and brave.  We think that first step may be coming in the very near future!

Lenna got a new snowmobile!  Is she ready for winter now?  I am pretty sure she will be too little for a while but it is something passed down from friends of ours.  It is a mini replica of Mom's snowmobile.  So cute, when she gets older we will be able to go out in the yard and on Grandpa's farm and play around.  It runs good too.
